Welcome to the first newsletter for Cutting Edge Glass and
Frame.
News:If you haven't heard yet,
Cutting Edge Glass bought out The Solder Joint and Frame shop and became
Cutting Edge Glass and Frame in March of this year. The new owners,
Beth and Chris Erbe have been working hard to organize and re-stock the
shop with all the glass and supplies you would like to have in a retail
shop. We are very grateful to Larry, Linda and their children for all of
their hard work in making glass supplies and classes available and look
forward to taking the great foundation that they laid and building up
the best glass shop in the region.
We are still in the same location 3355 N Thompson, Springdale but
our phone number has changed, please make note of that for your records.
Our new number is 479-595-0535.
We order glass in at the
beginning of every month so if you know you are going to need a special
color or a large amount of glass for a project let us know at the end of
a month so we can be sure to get your glass ordered for you. We also
will call you as soon as it comes in so you don't have to wonder if it
came in.
Classes:We are offering classes on a regular basis with
our next class starting on July 1st, Thursday at 7pm-9pm. This class is a
Stained Glass class. It will be held for 6 weeks and it costs $100 for
beginners. The fee includes all materials, tools and supplies. At the
end of the 6 weeks you will have a beautiful completed window approx"
12" x 16."
The advanced fee is $50 and includes use of our tools and the help of
the teacher; glass and supplies are
not included in the fee.
Our
next Stepping Stone class will be July 10th starting at 10am. This
class is $45 for beginners and includes all supplies and tools as well
as glass cut and ready to assemble. The advanced class fee is $15, the
fee covers the cost of the studio and teacher assistance. The advanced
student will need to provide all glass, stepping stones and grout.
We will have another Stained Glass class starting September 2nd.
We
look forward to expanding our class offerings over the next year and
will keep you posted on them as they are scheduled.

The store will be closed for a family vacation on June 18th until June
28th. We apologize for any inconvenience that this causes. We are open
until then for any supplies and glass you will need before we are
closed.
